OKAHEP: OCaml library for data processing and visualization,
specifically in high energy physics (HEP) experiments.
OKAHEP is OCaml library intended for use in high energy physics (HEP).
The purpose of the project is to create compact and convenient
substitute for conventional programming frameworks such as
CERN PAW and CERN ROOT.
At now the library is minimalist and relies on OCaml bindings to
external C libraries: gsl (ocamlgsl), plplot, gtk2 (lablgtk2).
There is implementation of the following features:
The project is hosted on forge.ocamlcore.org and
- 1D and 2D histograms
- Basic histogram and data containers
- Graphical canvas (to draw histograms)
- Some helper functions for fitting and processing data
- Reading and converting TTree data from CERN ROOT files
